Enrollment

For 2009-2010, Westerly Creek will have ECE (beginning with three-year-olds) to 3rd grade this fall. It will add one grade per year until it becomes an ECE - grade 5 school.

For 2009-2010, Stapleton residents are guaranteed a space either at Westerly Creek or at Bill Roberts for grades Kindergarten and above. Placement for residents was done through the DPS choice system. There is limited availability for students living outside of Stapleton to choice into the school.

Registration
Registration for new Westerly Creek students can be completed at the Westerly Creek Primary building on East 28th Avenue (enter at the east entrance located at 28th and Akron St.). Questions? Call the school at 303-322-5877.

Stapleton will not have specific school boundaries.
Students currently attending Westerly Creek will “roll” over (No School of Choice application is necessary)
Registrants NEW to Westerly Creek will have to complete a School of Choice application for the school they want to attend. Siblings of WC students can indicate this on the School of Choice form.
Registrants must provide birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of address. For families that are building homes not yet completed, please bring a copy of the purchase agreement/contract; for families that are renting, please bring a copy of the lease agreement.

Before and After School Care - Kaleidoscope
The Denver Public Schools offer before-school and after-school care on site at Westerly Creek Primary building.

All registrations for Kaleidoscope are handled at the Kaleidoscope offices located at the historic Crofton School Building, 2409 Arapahoe Street Denver, CO 80205, at 24th and Arapahoe Street, just north of Downtown Denver (720) 424-8291. kaleidoscope.dpsk12.org
