Mr. Brian Tarver is a native of Denver, Colorado. He is a product of Denver Public Schools, graduating from East High School in 1995. He has a B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and holds a Master Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies through the University of Denver. Mr. Tarver has worked for Denver Public schools in a number of capacities, marking over 15 years of service with the district. He has served as the Restorative Justice Counselor at Florida Pitt Waller, a Community Engagement Specialist at Bruce Randolph and Martin Luther King Early College for the Office of Family and Community Engagement, and has served as Dean of Students at High Tech Early College and Noel Community Arts Middle School.

Mr. Tarver has been recognized by the numerous organizations for his outstanding work and contribution to the community and has been a strong example, role model, and father figure for many children and youth. He is a minister, youth leader, and active community member. Mr. Tarver has been with Westerly Creek since the start of the 2017-2018 school year and is proud to serve as one of WCE’s Assistant Principals.
