Linsey was raised in Houston, Texas. After traveling in Venezuela for a year on a community service program, Linsey moved to Colorado in 1998. She has a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies and a B.S. in Spanish from Colorado State University. She is currently pursuing a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Denver and expects to complete that degree in 2015. Linsey has worked for the Denver Public Schools since 2004, when she began teaching at Westerly Creek. She enjoys gardening, practicing yoga, camping, and spending time with her husband Grant, daughters Sophia & Charlotte, and dog Major.
