Yasamin Holland grew up in upstate, New York. She received a B.A. in English from George Mason University and her M.A. in Educational Psychology, along with her teacher’s license, from UC Denver in partnership with the Friends’ School Teacher Preparation Program. Yasamin taught 4 years of high school studio art and fashion design, and 3 years of arts integration as a k1 classroom teacher. After a year spent classroom teaching in the northeast region of Denver, Yasamin is thrilled to join DPS and Westerly Creek as a part-time art teacher. Yasamin loves spending her free time making art and music, reading, gardening, traveling, and most of all spending time with her husband Tim and their dogs Gandhi and Walnut.
