Westerly Creek PTA
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) supports the school and staff by involving WCE families. The PTA coordinates room parents, home and school communications, literacy and art activities, outdoor and indoor beautification activities, etc. The PTA is also very active in raising funds needed to make WCE an excellent school.

Time: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: Cafeteria and 3rd Grade Classrooms
Description: The Night of the Notables is happening on Thursday, May 23rd beginning at 6:00pm. Students will need to arrive on time, at 5:45pm, already dressed in their costume and carrying their prop. They can meet their teachers in the hallway outside their classrooms. Once parents are seated in the cafeteria, students will begin lining up downstairs at designated spots. We will introduce the project and explain how to interview the students. You will have about 30-40 minutes to roam the hallways and visit each notable. To close, students will line up and enter the cafeteria telling the audience which Colorado notable they are. After the Night of the Notables events have finished, the third grade team would like to invite you into our classrooms for an open house that will go until 8:00pm. Students will showcase their notable work, as well as other end of the year accomplishments in math and literacy. You are invited to come by your child's classroom to celebrate all of the hard work that he/she has put into a successful third grade year! We look forward to spending the evening with you.
