Parenting Safe Children

Date: Saturday, November 3, 2018

Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

WCE is hosting this powerful workshop to teach adults how to protect children from sexual assault, taking the burden off of kids to have to protect themselves.

We realize this is one of the most difficult subjects to talk about. But considering how common child sexual assault is, we felt it was important to give our parents the tools they need to start the conversation. While we want to create an “off limits” community at Westerly Creek, this important workshop is open to everyone – please invite friends or family to attend with you.

IN JUST 4 HOURS YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Body-safety rules
  • Open & honest communication tools via Teachable Moments, Favorites and What-If games
  • Caregiver screening to create a strong Prevention Team™
  • Age-appropriate sexual behavior vs. concerning behavior
  • Spotting signs that someone is grooming a child for abuse
  • And so much more!
