WCE Parents, Family, and Friends:

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year, we are off to a wonderful year!

WCE Administration wants all students, staff, and visitors to remain safe in our building at all times. Please read the following procedures to ensure school safety:

Visitors and Early Release. Please know to always enter through the front door labeled #1 (EAST Entrance).  It is important to stop in the main office before proceeding further into the building.  The front office signs you in and collects IDs or keys if you wish to visit a classroom. If you need to pull your students for an early release, we are not able to pull your student out until you are at the front office. Please communicate with your students’ teachers via email for early releases.  Early release ends at 3:35pm.

Morning Drop Off. Please remember that students are generally dropped off  in the “Kiss and Go” lanes to line up at designated areas to enter the building.  If your student is in ECE you may drop them off at their classroom doors by 8:55am.  The morning bell is at 8:55 AM, school begins at 9:00 AM,  and ends at 3:45 PM.

Discovery Link. If your student attends Discovery Link before or after school, they have their own entrance and a doorbell labeled #25 located on 28th Ave (NORTH side of the building, next to the blue lunchroom doors). Please use Door #25 for anything that relates to Discovery Link drop off and pick up.
