BOOK IT to the CREEK – Summer Reading Goals Due May 25!

BOOK IT to the CREEK officially starts on June 2. Reading charts went home last week. Please make sure your child participates because children who don’t read over the summer experience summer learning loss. And the effect is cumulative–kids who lose reading skills over the summer will be two years behind their classmates by the end of 6th grade!
Your child can prevent this from happening by participating in BOOK IT:
- By Friday, May 25: Help kids submit their summer reading goal to the BOOK IT page on the PTA website.
- Visit the BOOK IT page on the PTA website for all the program details, submission links and prize categories.
