Denise is originally from Chicago and has been working for DPS since 2009. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Spanish from Augustana College, a M.A. in Instructional leadership from Framingham State University, and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction for Linguistically Diverse Students from the University of Colorado, Denver. Denise has taught all grades, taught bilingual education in Chicago and at the American School of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and at Seoul International School in Korea before joining DPS. Denise has been at Westerly Creek since 2015 and she is always excited to work with students, staff, and the community! In her spare time Denise enjoys traveling with her husband, playing with her kitty, hiking, and trying new restaurants.
