First GradeSuzanne is a Colorado native born and raised in Denver. She is a proud DPS graduate, having attended Edison Elementary, Skinner Middle School, and North Hight School. Suzanne earned a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies/English from the University of Northern Colorado. She has taught 5th grade Literacy and has been teaching 1st grade Literacy/Language Arts at Westerly Creek since 2009. Prior to becoming a teacher, she spent ten years as a reading and writing paraprofessional at several Denver schools including Westerly Creek.
Suzanne has three children—Shaye, Jordan, and Braden. She is also the proud grandmother of an amazingly intelligent and humorous grandson, Auden.During her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, being outdoors, reading, and occasionally cooking.
