Thanksgiving Donation Baskets

Thanksgiving Donation Baskets for Westerly, Smith Elementary and Hallett Academy Families

Each year we put together bags of Thanksgiving food to make sure all families can enjoy a holiday meal. Our community is in greater need this year more than ever!

Please help in making our annual Thanksgiving donation baskets a success! Our goal this year is to help 100 families in our community, more than ever before! We are asking for Thanksgiving food donations to make baskets for Westerly Creek Elementary, Smith Elementary, and Hallett Academy families. Your donations are helping to make a plentiful Thanksgiving holiday and are greatly appreciated.

WCEats: Dog Haus

Join us for lunch or dinner at Dog Haus in Northfield on November 13,  as part of our WCEats program!

About WCEats: thewcepta.com/restaurant-nights

Held throughout the school year, WCEats Restaurant Nights are fun community events where you can dine-in, take out, or get delivery from participating restaurants who then return a portion of sales to WCE. Make sure to mention “Westerly Creek Elementary School” as the reason for your visit.

10th Annual REALGiving Campaign

The 10th annual REALGiving Campaign in Stapleton is underway to provide King Soopers gift cards for families in need at Thanksgiving. Last year, Stapleton area Realtors, builders, lenders, friends, Forest City and The Foundation for Sustainable Urban Communities raised over $15,600 to assist Westerly Creek families in need, for 190+ families throughout the community and local school food pantries. This year the need has increased to 200+ families at the neighborhood schools, Westerly Creek, Bill Roberts, Swigert, Isabella Bird, McAuliffe, Denver Discovery, Northfield, and Ashley Elementary. We are asking for your donation to help us purchase King Soopers gift cards with a minimum value of $70 for the identified families. To donate, click on the link below for the secure site: http://www.thewcepta.com/realgiving/

On the donation page, please enter your information and scroll down for donation package details. Donations are tax-deductible. The gift cards will be loaded on Monday, November 18th and delivered to the schools for distribution to families before the holiday break. Thanks to the Westerly Creek PTA for powering the secure giving site to allow you to donate via credit card! For more info and updates please visit the REALGiving Facebook page
