Personal Success Factors Parent Engagement Night

Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Pizza and childcare provided!

Has your child come home and told you that he hasn’t mastered a tricky skill yet, but he is going to have a growth mindset?  Have you overheard a teacher tell her students that she is grateful for their optimism?  Or have you observed a playground discussion where one child demonstrates respect for another child’s feelings in a conflict?  All of these examples are Personal Success Factors in action.

Please join us to learn how Westerly Creek uses the Personal Success Factors (PSF), a school-wide initiative to support the whole child.  PSF are indicators of academic and career success, and they are tightly linked to a student’s personal skills and strengths.

Our goals for the night are for families to:

  • Deepen their understanding of the PSF and how they are used in the various grades.
  • Understand the research behind why PSF are so powerful.
  • Have additional resources for supporting PSF at home.

Please use this LINK to RSVP by Monday, December 4, 2017 so we know how much pizza and childcare to provide!
