Jen was born in Alaska, and growing up, lived in Colorado, Texas, New York, and Idaho. Happily, she has called Denver her permanent home since 2009. She earned her BA in Theatre Arts from Boise State University and her Elementary Education License from Metro State. Jen began teaching in Jeffco Public Schools in 2012, and has been at Westerly since 2021. In her free time she likes to read, spend time with friends, and go on adventures with her two kids.
