Katherine was born and raised in College Park, Maryland. She moved to South Carolina to attend college at Clemson University, where she received her B.A. in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. She then moved back to Annapolis, Maryland to start her career as a Kindergarten teacher. After some time in Kindergarten, she moved to Third grade for five years, during which time she received her M.A. in Counseling from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Katherine is a recent Denver transplant, arriving in town during the Summer of 2021. When not in school, Katherine enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, hiking, reading, and spending time with her dog, Tucker. Katherine has been a part of the WCE community since the 2021-2022 school year.
