Parent Engagement Night
WCE Families and Friends,
We are pleased to invite you to a really important parent workshop, tomorrow, Thursday, January 23rd at 6:00pm in the WCE library. You will be provided with information and tools on how to talk to your children about marijuana, vaping and other risky behaviors.
The workshop contains the following topics:
- Laws around marijuana
- Statistics on vaping and marijuana use in pre-teens and teens
- Methods of use
- Health effects on youth
- And more importantly, resources on how to initiate and continue conversations with your children
